![]() ![]() ThankyouFall River is a great city, filled with hard working people, whose combined spirit makes this a special place to live. Whether its strolling through one of our Olmsted parks, eating in one of our great restaurants, reading about our storied history, admiring our Victorian homes and other great architecture, greeting a child at one of our newly built schools, remembering our veterans on the deck of our battleship, watching the best sunsets anywhere from our newly expanded boardwalk on the waterfront, I am always mindful of the great home Fall River has provided to us all.I love our city. I love its people. I have lived here my whole life and plan to stay and make a difference so that my family, my wife and son, can live an even better life, just as every family wants for themselves and their children. If you love your city, then you have to be willing to fight on its behalf, to fight for the things that make our city a better place. As your Mayor, I will bring my passion for Fall River and its people to the fight to bring about positive change, to build a great future for our children and their families. This great city is our home. I share with each of you the desire to make our home a better place. I ask for your vote because I am deeply committed to this city, and as your Mayor, I want to make a difference in Fall River because it is worth fighting for. I believe in the fight for better schools, and I will make sure that our students have new, modern facilities with a high quality education. I will bring new companies to Fall River to provide the jobs for the future while supporting our manufacturing base. I will fight to keep our neighborhoods safe, to rebuild our infrastructure, and to keep our environment clean, as evidenced by the fight to shut down the BFI Landfill. I will oppose, with all my strength, the LNG terminal proposed for Fall River's Weavers Cove because it poses, not only a huge risk to our lives and safety, but the biggest threat to our future this city has ever seen. I will not negotiate or compromise our public safety. While we are facing a difficult challenge, with a multi-national corporation and their lawyers, along with an unresponsive federal government trying to force this project down our throats; I promise that we will fight them with all our energy, resources, and spirit in order to protect our city from serious danger and significant drop in property values and population that would see our families and children leave the city they love. I will not let that happen, and, as long as I am Mayor, it will not! ![]() Who has the Passion?
